Breitenbush Hot Springs
As humans we need to connect. We yearn for intimacy, yet many are left feeling unsatisfied, isolated and alone. To help deepen our relationships with ourselves and others, we can use the teachings of the Brahma Viharas. The Brahma Viharas are the four qualities of the heart: loving-kindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity. They are universal teachings, though found in Buddhist and Yogic texts.
I see the Brahma Viharas as guide maps for navigating relationships. Whenever we’re relating, whether it be with ourselves, or others, we can use these virtues to consciously and gracefully meet whatever we’re faced with, and connect in that moment. We’ll explore the Brahma Viharas through discussion, postures, breathing, meditation and being in community. We’ll have four practices, four discussions, and plenty of time to soak, sauna, rest, and play.
My intention in offering this retreat, is to create a container, which allows us to understand how to better relate to ourselves and others. I created this retreat for people to attend individually, with a friend or with a sweetie. This retreat welcomes all!

9-10am: Free time

10:30-11:30am: Equanimity Practice of Movement and Meditation
11:30am-12pm: Closing Circle
12pm-1pm: Pack up out of lodging
Please note that the amount required to hold your spot is your lodging, and this deposit is non-refundable. The remainder is due on the first day of the retreat. To receive the early bird discount, the the entire retreat cost must be paid by 1/15/19.
In the event of cancellation: 60 days or more prior to the retreat: your entire payment will be refunded less the non-refundable deposit of lodging plus a $50 administrative fee.
59-30 days prior to the retreat: less your non-refundable deposit, your remaining balance may be applied to a future retreat only within 2 years.
29 days or less prior to the retreat: forfeit all retreat money rendered.
This retreat qualifies for 7 hours of continuing education through Yoga Alliance.
