Spiral from the Center

This practice explores twisting as something that begins in the center of the body rather than being pulled from the limbs. We initiate rotation through the pelvis, ribcage, and spine, and let the arms and legs follow.

You’ll move through a mix of standing postures, wall work, and floor-based shapes that help organize the relationship between the hips and ribcage. The intention is to create a more integrated twist, where effort is distributed through the whole body instead of concentrated in one area.

The sequence includes Warrior I, Pyramid pose, chest openers, spine mobilizers, and finally putting it all together in, Revolved Triangle. A short cool-down precedes a 4-minute Savasana.
